I'd like to have my own email but don't know what to do. My husband and I share it but I don't want him in my mail. Do I have to have the same @ part?;)

The first thing that you need to do is to create your own e-mail address (your ISP's support pages should provide you with details of how to do this). Once you have an address, you then need to create a new identity (your own - using your new e-mail address) in Outlook Express. This is easy - just click File - Identities - Add New Identity and a wizard will walk you through the rest of the process.

crot0--Following brett's suggestion will give you your own email account (with your own name and which you can even protect with a password unknown to your husband, if you wish), but it won't change the @ part of the address. If you really want a different @ part you will have to find another email provider. I believe Yahoo, for one, offers free email, but there are lots of others for free and for pay.
However, I don't think there will be much advantage compared to just getting your own email account at your existing provider.
