Downloads won't save

Whenever i go to save a download it downloads but doesn't save anywhere, have tried a few different things including the Mozilla Help but nothing i seem to do works, its all website including any attachments from emails - i'm using firefox but have tried internet explorer as well and doesn't work either.

Any help would be great as its driving me insane

 

Where are you trying to save the downloads ? Do you have necessary permissions for that folder ?

 

i'm trying to save the in my documents so yeah i have necessary permission to save things there - its was working one minute and not the next - its really weird

 

change to download to desktop..

 

yeah have tried that aswell - nothing seems to work

 

have also tried changing the internet options as well but also didn;t change anything
