cannot find twain

    I had to reinstall WinXP and then reinstall my Canon scanner. The installation worked OK and the drivers are there because I was able to scan to one app.

    However, trying to scan to copy or email would not work and I get the message that it cannot find my twain. How can I settle this?

    Try this: open your favorite view, mine is XnView, have a picture in the scanner, now click file then "Aquire" & see if your scanner is listed in the menu, if so selet it & your twain driver will lauch the canon prescan/scan menu. If not look under twain_32 folder for your scanners software (no twain here tho) Next look for twain in the windows folder itself. Twain_32.dll:)
