Lets look at something quick. Highlight and copy the contents of the following code box.

cls

Click Start>Run and type cmd then hit Enter to open a command window.
Right click the command window and paste the copied text.

No longer a problem

Dave, I ultimately fixed the internet options problem. My motherboard took a ****. I got a new one and re-installed XPSP3. All seems well except an audio problem. Check out this link and see if you can help in this area.
