How can i get my Readyscan 636i scanner working under win xp?

    Apparently the lazy jerks at NEC decided not to make updated drivers for XP for this model scanner. So what can i do? Are there any generic drivers that will allow it to work under XP?

    Run into the same problem when I went to Windows 2000 with a photo printer and a scanner I have. What I did was go to a duel boot system. That way I can still use them.

    Do they have Win 2000 drivers for your scanner ?. If so download and try those. A lot of 2000 drivers work under XP.
