    Hello!

I have a Mercury e-450v camera that i have been using for a couple of years. My computer recognized this camera until I install sp3 ( XP Pro). Now it won't. I have downloaded the driver from the manufacturer but only to my desktop because I don't know what to do now. Can somebody help me please?

    Thanks

    Dana

Hi Dana, I am not familiar with your camera, but I assume that it is a Digital Photo Camera.
If that is the case then you must have a memory Card SD - XD you don't need to connect your camera to the PC just use a USB card reader. If you are referring to a webcam then just install the driver, you might want to look in Control Panel Add Remove if these same drivers are installed and remove them first. Also check in Device Manager to see if you have a yellow exclamation mark under unknown device if yes delete and re-boot windows and windows might re-install the correct device drivers.
    hope this helps a little
