I have a client with a problem. When ever he tries to access the Task Mgr. it only appears in the system tray. No matter what he does, he can not get it to open on the desk top. He is only able to close it by right clicking.

How can we fix this so it is functioning as it should?

    Thanks!

Wondering if he drug it down below the task bar. Could drag the task bar to top of the screen...

What happens if you right click on the task bar where you see task manager and select Maximize?

Do you only have Task Manager in the systray and not the task bar?

The task bar button does have the option to maximise when you right click on it.

In the tool bar as well.

When you maximize, you get a totally blank window. No buttons, nothing.

I'd suspect malware (but I may be wrong) read this and then post in the malware forum if you think it's a possibility.
