When I save an e-mail with graphics or pictures in it to my USB memory stick,
the graphics and pictures don't display when I open the USB memory stick.
Is it because MSHTML.DLL is not present on my computer?

Outlook Express? What are you saving the email as - .eml?

If you do this any attachments are not saved in the usual way - i.e. the paperclip is not visible, but if you open the .eml from your stick you should see the message pane with the attachments listed and a right click > open opens the attachments.

MSHTML.DLL is an Internet Explorer file.

I'm saving the message text and graphics. I'm using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
The text saves fine but the graphics disappear.

I don't use Outlook - have edited your thread title and moved it to the Windows Mail forum.

When reading the original email, are you doing File->Save As?
