Lost Cd-ROM icon after repartition w/ Partition Magic

I tried search and couldn't come up with solution so: After creating a new partition on my HDD with Partition Magic I ran Drive Mapper and everything worked fine and CD-Rom shows in Device Manager w/no problems and the drive letter is correct but the icon has disappeared in My Computer. Would appreciate any suggestions.

 

If this belongs in hardware........

Nevermind... I've just been talking to myself

Was pointed to Tweakui by another board and fixed the problem via the Control Panel tab of same. The F drive (new CD-RW drive designation) was unchecked. Checked and all is well.

Do have a question tho: How else, without Tweakui, would one check that function? The CD-ROM in Device Manager was all kosher and designated as "F" but just had lost the icon in My Computer.

 

Err..Umm(Too late to edit) so....

It wasn't the Control Panel tab, it was the My Computer tab. Didn't wanna leave that dangling.
