lost serial number for office 2000

    I reinstalled WinME on my work machine and then wanted to reinstall Office 2000 so windows would recongnize it. I found the cd, but not the manual so I don't have the cd key.

    Is there any way to find the cd key on the hard drive?

    Thanks Dennis, sounds interesting, I will check that out.

    I ended up calling Microsoft, explained the situation and because it was actually my bought, paid for and registered copy of Office they actually gave me the cd-key. Cool! Now I'm back to work. Cool?
