update problem

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1

Will not install Is this going to cause a problem for me.

 

Check Add/Remove Programs for .NET Framework 1.1
If it's not installed, the Service Pack cannot be installed.
The fact that it gets offered despite not having the 1.1 Framework is an MS quirk.

 

I don't know if it came with my computer or it is something I ever use or used. I was setting up web sites for a while. While looking at add and remove it tells me this is rarely used.

I really need to learn all about the PC and all that is on it.
