I just installed the comodo firewall. I selected the defense plus on install.
I just ran leaktest.exe and it failed. I didn't even get a pop up from Comodo. I must not have set it up right since Comodo isn't asking for permission to allow programs to access the internet.

I have used Zone alarm security suite for a few years so I have some experience with firewalls. (ZA is not currently on the computer since I formatted it 2 weeks ago)

    Thanks

Comodo passes the test when running it from their web site.
However, running the exe from my hard drive fails the test. Comodo doesn't put up a pop up.
The exe was on the hard drive before installing Comodo, but I never ran Comodo in training mode so I figured it Defense+ would ask for permission when I tried to run the program.

Comodo by default trusts all your existing applications & files and would allow them to access the net. [at least that's the way it was in past when I used it. Don't know if they have changed it or not - apparently not.]

This is done to reduce the security prompts that the user receives.

    Hi
I downloaded the test and ran it when it was blocked.

rsinfo is correct "Comodo by default trusts all your existing applications & files " if they are installed on your system when installing comodo and I believe there was an option to that effect when installing it if I remember correctly. Something to the effect of Clean PC mode installation.
