i just installed debugwiz and attempted to generate a log, but instead it gave me this mesage "when the dos window closes, your dump output has been saved to c:\debuglog.txt"

Its not in that location. i'm running XP pro 2002.

I'm getting the blue screen of death, more and more frewquently now as well. Any input would be greatly appreciated

The location and message are both correct - I suggest you download a fresh copy and try again. Remember to you must be connected to the internet whilst debugging.

treied reinstalling it but it still wont work. I have noticed that the computer works for awhile if its been turned off for awhile. but once it starts doing the blue screen it keeps doing it frequently.

Right-click debugwiz.exe and choose Run as and run the program as Administrator.

Without admin privileges you won't be able to run it.

Here's the info from the BSOD.

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    STOP: OXOOOOOOOA (0XFF1711F2, OXOOOOOOO2, OXOOOOOOOO, 0X804D6B8C)

not sure if this info helps but this is what it keeps saying. I also ran the comuter is safe mode w/o networking and i didnt experience the BSOD.

Also noticed that if sometimes i leave the computer running overnight and throughout the day it wont shut off until i go to use it.

Rolling back the driver is only effective if the driver has already been replaced - otherwise there is no driver to roll back to :)

I suggest you first uninstall the wireless card through Device Manager and reboot to allow Windows to reinstall it. If that is unsuccessful see if there is an updated driver on the manufacturer's website.
