I'm wondering about these two Windows optimization programs.

I have used Winaso for years and since I'm not a knowledgeable computer person I really don't know whether it does anything worthwhile or not. http://www.winaso.com/

Today a computer guy came to do some work at my office and he said he uses a program called TuneUp Utilities 2008. http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/

What are your opinions of either one of these programs?

Does either one of these programs do anything worthwhile?

    I just surf the internet.

    Thanks for the education.

I just did a quick glance at both...Winaso seems to come in several different flavors. Which one(s) do you use?

Most of the things they do Windows can do and or there is free software to do it...

XP and Vista do a fantastic job handeling the registry....But cleaning the reg can come in handy if you're having an issue removing an old application.

CCleaner is a very popular freebie:

As you probably know, removing one little entry that you shouldn't remove and all be kill your pc..
