    Just started using it today.
When I open Interntet exporer I get 5 adwatch events that I have to click to allow and 3 more when I close IE.

    This happens every time.

    Why?

    Doesn't adwatch have a memory?

I have been using an older version of ad-aware and haven't had this problem

I want to be able to run 2008 because of all the features, but I don't want to click allow 100 times while I'm surfing.

    Thanks.

What are the events you're having to approve?

  3. to hide this advert.

    It says,
" IE is trying to modigy the registry path HKEY_current_user "

I get 5 when I open my home page and I get 3 more of the same when I close IE.

I have to click allow 8 times without even doing any surfing.

I should also add that just last week I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled XP sp3 on all my computers.

Since installing ad-aware 2008 a few hours ago my computer has suddenly restarted itself two different times while visiting normal web pages. It's obviously from the ad-aware 2008.

    Why would this happen?

I'd first try uninstalling Ad-Aware, if you're suddenly getting random reboots.

If it stops, then for some reason the system is not compatible with Ad-Aware.

The info you provided on the Ad-Aware alert does not tell me specifically what it's trying to change. Just something in that area of the registry which is massive.
