Using Wordpad or WordPerfect, I want to insert a clickable url.

When I enter the following, this does not happen:

    <a href= "www.abc.com ">My File</a>

Thus you cannot click on it. I want to be able to e-mail a .doc file and have a clickable link in it.

The only thing I can find is:

    Insert>Object

but after that I get lost.

Got to poking around and found it--

    In WordPerfect:

    Tools>Quick Connect>Quick Links

This allows you to create a link word which points to a link address (url).

    <a href= "Http://www.abc.com ">My File</a>

    Where:
'My File' is Link Word and
    'Http://www.abc.com' is Link Address
