I'm running XP & Windows 2000. When I try to drag & drop from a particular CD it freezes. I have no problems with other CD's.
    Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Hi bubaleh,

CD/DVD disks can be fussy due to a few reasons. Dirty, damaged or old worn out disk is but three of these.

Since this is confined to one particular disk:
If dirty, simply clean it and see if problem is also cleaned up. If old or damaged, burn another disk. Patience may be required since drag and drop is a problem. You may have to try "copy and paste" instead. You may also have to do this one file at a time, hence the previous "patience required" statement. If your sure the disk is viral free, temporarily disable virus scanning (if enabled) while doing this as it may also be a secondary cause of bog.

You may also wish to try the CD on other computers. Perhaps another computer rom drive will be more cooperative. Fussy critters that they are, your rom drive may just not like the brand of disk, or is not capable of ignoring and handling read/writes from aged, worn disks. :)
