Welcome to WindowsBBS. Let me start by asking you this question.

I suppose that you are using Outlook Express, is this correct? If not, what program are you using or is this through a web browser? What email service do you have: hotmail, gmail, or what?

What internet provider do you have and what is your connection speed? How are you connected: wireless, ethernet?

Wait, are you using internet explorer or outlook express. Outlook express is part of internet explorer. Answer this and I can help you more.

Scanned documents are sometimes huge, and some email providers won't accept such large attachments. Please check the size of what you are trying to attach. Also, what is the extension on the file? .bmp, .jpg etc?

When you log ino get your email, do you view it from the web or use outlook or outlook express to download it? This question is important.
