OK looks good.

How are things running.

 

geri things seem okay havent been on long enough to tell anything yet. last think my provider was down(got busy signal everything i called)
changed antivirus,comodo decided that yahoo was not on my safe list but kept the hourglass on (while it went on the web to find out about the messenger) ten fifteen minutes is way to long to be looking. so got onecare so we'll see.
thank you for all your help. i'll more than likely be back,seems like im always "yelling help me please." i lurk on other sites,not often mainly because it just might give my computer ideas! only thing i really dont know,is did i have antivirus or not? add/remove said last time i used was aug 07! for 13 months i used it everyday and i dont know if i had protection! tell you one thing i got microsoft number and ill be on phone discussing onecare.

OK let me know.

Many free AV's need manual updating, so make sure check if the updates are automatic, if not you need to do it yourself. I suggest every time you get on the internet. first thing you do is update.
I get 2, 3, or more updates a day sometimes with eTrust.

hi geri she seems to be running okay so far so good, knock on wood and everything else. im pretty good about updates,since my brother-in-law asked me about updates when i called him. deep silence on my part like huh? update? omg. he explain that you update those things or they dont work well. i check for updates,first thing,always.since then.
what i dont understand is why add/remove didnt recognize that it was in use,13 months,daily and the first thing i did. dont understand that at all.
so i guess this one is resolved. this one there will be another one like the network i got to put back on next month. or trying to burn audio cds, or something else. so thanks and see you later.
