    Hi,

A friend sent me several individual tracks of music as an attachment in an e-mail. I would like to transfer them into my iTunes library, but cannot figure out how to do it successfully. So far, I saved each track into an individual folder on my desktop. I do have Red Chair copy gear software on my pc. Would that be of help? I used it to transfer music from my iPod into a different folder in order to protect my playlists. I am a Rookie at this also, but I love learning it.

    The file extension is .cda
When I click on the song in the folder, it takes me into the iTunes library. But I can't find the songs anywhere in iTunes & also they don't play when I click on them in the folder.

ask her to send you the songs as .mp3 or .wma

The .cda is the extension you see on cds that you have burned and will not play on your computer. iTunes isn't going to recognize .cda as a valid music extension.
