I have only been using Internet Explorer for a little while I have #6 along with Windows ME and on certain message board that I go on we all post pictures that we have saved on our own compurters or jpg's using the img src code and cut and paste for image location but I find that this doesn't work...the only things that show up are either a tiny box with a red X in it or just the code and no image. How can I post pictures either from my own hard drive or the net???

NightCrafter--Each message board has its own system and you should find some instructions on that board telling you how to post images.
One thing certain is that you won't be able to post by just having the image on your own hard drive. Other people usually have no way of accessing your hard drive, and normally you would not want them to!
You will either have to upload the image to a special site run by the message board, or to a "Web Space" site (like Webshots.com or your own website) which permits others to access the image without the need for a password. In the latter case, the image will likely show up automatically in your message. In the former case, you will probably have a hyperlink in your message which, when clicked, allows others to download and see your image.
