trying to Re-install Turbotax for 2005

    I get a strange message from the installation disk
    "Your configuration has been modified (prd.ini, startup] Please re-install "

    I don'e even know what that could mean :confused:

    Was it ever installed on this pc?
    If so, did you unistall it before the attemp to install it again.

    Have you looked on their web site/support section?

    It was never iinstalled on this PC. This machine is less than a year old

    Thanks, Steve. I haven't tried this yet but it looks like TTAX means of keeping people from installing on another computer. Will install soon. At the moment, a change in my needs has possible eliminated the need to install TTAX2005,
