I have had this same complaint in the past, but always got things to work.

IE8 is not saving, caching, whatever, email addresses that I use in my home ISP's web mail. This is a deal breaker for me. I use the home ISP's web mail at work to keep up with my correspondence.

Both Firefox-when it is running right- an Safari for Windows will save the email addresses with no problem.

    Anyone have any ideas?

You know that IE8 is BETA aka a work in progress?

Guessing that it has an AutoComplete function like all previous versions. Have you enabled it?

Thanks. No. But I had IE7, which had some saved addresses. I searched for some sort of thing like Autocomplete, but found nothing.

Have you any idea where it might be?

Thanks, I found it, sorry, small print, old eyes. I will try it. Sometimes, all this means is completing forms with my I.D.

I will tell you my results.
