I recently had to reinstall Windows 98SE and AOL 7.0 on my computer. Now, I am not able to log in to sites that require a username and password and use vBulletin security.
I had IE 6.0 installed. I uninstalled it and tried IE 5.5 with no luck.
I have deleted cookies, cache etc. I tried repair IE option. I have worked with AOL techs on a number of things.
This really has me stumped. I anyone has any ideas that I can try, I would really appreciate the help.
When I get online with my other computer, I do not have this problem, so it is directly related to this one particular computer.

When I attempt to log in, I get the "Thank you for logging in" screen and then it immediately changes to the vBulletin "You are not logged in screen. "

Maybe an issue with your security settings? Try dropping them to the Default Level and make sure that cookies are enabled.

Thank you for your input Brett. I have tried that and it didn't help me.
Just submitting this reply will prompt me to log into this website forum again. At least I can get back into it.

Allow cookies MUST be enabled. Might check that.

It could also be caused by 3rd party software blocking the cookie.....

I thank everyone for their suggestions. I have tried them all and I am still having the same problem. Even when I navigate this site, I have to keep entering my username and password to get from screen to screen.

    You have something blocking cookies.

Either your security settings, or 3rd party software.
