Intermediate User

Hello everyone:

I live in NYC and have been using computers since the late 70's. Have programmed in Cobol II, and most recently have been a Business Analyst mostly on the development side of projects.

Love databases, datamarts, etc., etc.

NYC has not been such a booming economy for IT since the Mortgage bomb,
so have been doing Temp Work which is boring but pays the bills.

I usually can feret out problems for myself, reading the boards, and of course Tech Net for Microsoft.

In doing so I discovered this great site, and registered as a member - YEAH!

My hobbies include caring for 2 cats, 1 leapord Geko, and 3 Parrots - 1 Goffin Cockatoo named Blossom, 1 Yellow Naped Amazon named Archie, and 1 African Grey named Wiggles - have had them all for more than 15 years and they talk, sing and generally make noise when I want it to be quiet while I study.

I am married happily for over 20 years, and recommend it to everyone.
