Whenever i play certain videos in windows media the sound and movie are playing off track. the sound is playing faster then the video and i have no idea how to fix this, i have looked at a lot of settings and have not found the cause. i think its the media file itself because it wont play in VLC player, the video come sin scrambled then it stops working after a few seconds.

    any help would be great

Edit, is there so posed to be an add taking up half of my post room?

    Where are those videos from?
VLC should play almost any video.

If your installation of VLC is not "young" :), I suggest you uninstall it, download and install the latest version.

From memory, I think the large advertisement is "introductory" and after a certain number of posts it will no longer appear.

the videos are of downloaded naruto eps, the latest ones. the downloads are good, no viruses or anything, but for some reason VLC cant play the video. coincidently, those are the primary videos suffering form the media player video/ audio lag. the format of the videos is AVI so i don't know why its doing this.

*not loged on as guest, and this is the first time ive seen this, so if so it was implemented recently or something, its a big google ad* first post only at least
