D-link EOL for DI-604

have a D-Link DI-604, and it has been acting up lately, all the lights will go out, i get booted of my broadband connection, my motorola modem (road runner) shows all the lights except "PC connectivity ". After a few seconds the DI-604 blinks and reconnects and i'm back up and running.
i went to the D-Link site and found out that there was an End of Life notice posted in June of this year, natch i started having issues in August!
other than replacing the router what else can i do?
