old program updates

    If new updates, do not remove an older issue, is there a need to leave them installed ?

    If you are referring to Windows Updates leave them installed - re-issued updates may only update the previous version.

    If you uninstall them you will be offered them again through Windows Update if they are requires - they will be installed automatically if you have Updates set to Automatic.

    Thanks for the reply,but I had more consern about the likes of "java" or "adobe ".

    I normally uninstall the older versions of Java & Adobe Reader before installing the latest ones since the latest ones contain major security updates & leaving the old programs installed can be a major security problem.
