There are 2 files remaining after I first removed a program and then went to explore and removed additional files remaining. I cannot remove 2 files left. Do I just leave them or is there some way to remove them?

Usually a reboot works. After which you can delete the files. If not, look first for startup or service entries.

Simple way to remove. Download a free program "REVO UNINSTALLER. Yes there is no charge. What you have experienced is the problem with the MSFT Control Panel's "Add/Remove" function. It does not remove all bits and traces when you uninstall a program. Revo is a two part remover. First part duplicates the MSFT uninstall but second part eliminates all the remaining bits and pieces. Runs very fast. Try it,you'll like it.

Yes REVO is the best if the to be uninstall is available, which it will not be if you used Add/Remove programs.

Revo would have likely gotten these files.

But now you will need to do them differently.

If none of the all valid suggestions presented in this post do not work then do the below.

    Download http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php

Install and run: Select FileAssassins method of file removal them check all square boxes.

Then click the dots... to browse to the files and click Execute!

If you are not sure they are gone then repeat the process above and Fileassassin will confirm that it is or is not gone.

If they do not delete with the above then use the Delete on boot option. Add all 3 files and reboot.
