[Lost all Windows XP Icons after Virus infection]

[FONT= "Arial"]I lost all my Icons in Windows XP after a Virus. I can get some of them back but I would like to get all of them back. The Virus changed all the Icons to a folder Icon. I got rid of the Virus and Reinstalled Windows as an upgrade but this didn’t fix it.

Please help. I don’t want to have to reformat and reinstall everything[/FONT].

 

Do you mean Desktop Icons ?

They can be created again as they are just shortcuts.

 

Not just them but all the progrem Icons also. The desk top I can get them back by using the properties of each. The MS office icons liks word, excel, etc. I cant get these back.
