   You hightlight the file and hit the delete key or you right click and select delete.

   What & where are these unneeded files ? [I hope not in Windows directory].
   
   For cleaning junk files, you can use either ATF Cleaner or CCleaner or something like it.

   Click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< Disk Cleanup
