screen saver not working after system restore

After having to do a total system restore on my HP desktop I can not get the screen saver to work now. Any ideas on what the problem might.

 

Hi and welcome to the BBS,

Try resetting by changing the screensaver to None, restart, set it your normal s/s, restart again.

It may depend on the reason for needing to do the System Restore.

PS If by System Restore you mean a "Factory" Restore, I suggest you go to the HP website and update all the major drivers for your model.
