    Hello

I have started working from home maintaining a small mailing list (approx,4000 records) for a local company using Access, i have to get the database from the company weekly and also get my updated database back to them again weekly. I have been using a USB stick to do this but have had lots of probs doing it this way as for some reason it seems really ustable. I would like to transfer the data straight onto my laptop instead but have now idea how to do this, can anybody help please?

    Hi Debi,

Can I ask what operating system is on the laptop and also machine your transferring the file to and from.

I also guess you will be connected on the network to machine and dont mean that you want to transfer the data over the internet?

You could have someone zip & email the db to you. 4k names & addresses wouldn't be too large to email if it was zipped.
