klez

I have been getting messages thru OE which are infected with the Klez virus. I have gone thru Symantec and run their Fixklez file only to be told that no infections have been found,- even though they are in quarantine. I have a Windows Me and I also have NAV2002 installed Has anyone else encountered this problem. I am totally baffled. Can anyone help?.

 

You're not infected. Norton caught them before you got infected. You can delete them from quarantine. If you got these emails from friends, let them know.

 

Thanks for that bit of info, Allicat. It's good to know there are other people out there watching the big bad world as well. Thanks for the swift reply, that's a load of my mind.

If you ever want to just be doubly sure....use one of the free online vurus scanners such as:

Housecall
Panda
Symantec
Grisoft

And for Trojans.....might I suggest:
Tauscan
