I hope I can explain this coherently. When I right clikck on explore or on a desktop icon I get a popup that says it is uninstalling Trendmicro and I have to keep clicking 'cancel' until it stops and I am then able to access 'explore' etc.

I think the following may have caused it but I am not sure.

I recently had a laptop connected wirelessly to my desktop. It works fine. I installed Trendmicro on the laptop and I think I was still connected to the desktop at the time although I installed it via a flashdrive. I wondered if by doing this I caused some kind of interference?

Should I uninstall it from the laptop and reinstall it while it is not connected to the desktop? Do you think that would correct this very annoying problem?

I hope I didn't make this too confusing.
BTW, Trendmicro works fine in spite of the problem.
    TIA for any help!

Shouldn't have made a difference what was connected or not, but I would uninstall & then reinstall the program.
