    Hi
    OK :(

Are you log in as administrator?

Make sure Internet Explorer is closed. Click
start and type Windows Explorer, then right click the start menu entry and choose 'run as administrator'. Go to the download folder using Windows Explorer and try deleting the file.
    C:\Windows\Download Program Files\CKAVWebScan
Let me know if that worked.

    Thanks
    Geri

    Hi
OK it looks like Panda now supports Vista. So lets give it a try.

Please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan
    • Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
    • A new window will open...click the Check Now button
    • Enter your Country
    • Enter your State/Province
    • Enter your e-mail address and click send
    • Select either Home User or Company
    • Click the big Scan Now button
    • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
    • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
    • When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
    • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report

    Thanks
    Geri

    Hi ajmal786
    :(
OK I'm going to take a guess that Norton is finding it in you System Restore.

    Please do this.

Click Start>Run in the run box copy and paste or type ComboFix /u then hit Enter to uninstall ComboFix and remove the files/folders it created. This action will also reset the System Restore points, removing the infected files there as well.

After doing this let me know if Norton still gives you the warning.

    Thanks
    Geri

    Hi
If you would like to have that back you can do this...

Right-click the Start menu -> Properties -> Customize under the first "Start Menu" option -> Scroll down near the bottom of the list and check "Run Command ". ;)

    Hi
Is there anything listed in the quarantine folder? If there is, delete everything that is in the folder.

HJT won't show me the quarantine folder of Nortons.

    Hi
    OK, no problem.
So, were you able to delete it? so you don't get the warning any longer?

If not I found a scanner that should get rid of it.

    Let me know.

    Hi ajmal786
    OK, lets try this.

Please follow the instructions below to download and run the Norton Scanner, which should remove the Quarantined files. Make sure that no other applications are open after you download the file.

    1. Create a new folder on your desktop and name it "Norton Scanner. "
I believe you can right click on your desk top and select New then Folder, if vista does it the same?

    2. Using Internet Explorer, click on the link below to access the Norton Scanner. Choose "Save File" and save it to the Norton scanner folder on your Desktop.

    Norton Scanner

    3. Double-click on the "Norton Security Scan" file and save the extracted files to the folder you created on your desktop.

    4. When all of the files have be decompressed, double-click on the file "NSS" to launch the Norton Security Scanner.

    5. Read and accept the License agreement.

    6. Choose "Full System Scan" and then select "Start Scan." The scanner will then download the updated definition files and will scan all of the files on your computer. Please NOTE, depending on how many files are on your system, the scan may take a while. When the scan is complete, click on the "Action Required" tab and follow the instructions.

Let me know if that works.
