    Hi,
    I just noticed that I can't boot on safe mode... I hit F8 choose safe mode and when lins start loading it stalls on:

    Multi(0)disk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWSSystem32\Drivers\Mup.sys

    Should I reinstall or repair windows?

    ::sigh:::(

    Thanks a ton!

    Hi Nabo

    Welcome to the BBS!

    Wait several minutes here, there is normally a long pause here.

    To clarify what Mike said - which had me baffled for a while :) ......

    It is not unusual for the sysyem to pause at this point loading the next driver so have you given it a chance?

    BTW mup.sys is not the problem if one exists -that has already been loaded. It is the next file which may be problematic which I think is the ACPI driver.
