I have a DVD rewriter and a CD rewriter installed in my PC.The problem is that Win XP will let me use only one drive as a rewriter at a time.

When i right click on either of the drives and go to Properties>Recording and then select "Enable CD recording on this drive" and then finally click on Apply, Win XP somehow deselects the recording option on the other drive.

I do not plan to burn two discs at the same time though.

The behaviour you see is standard if you are using the native burning software of Windows - you can burn to one drive or the other, but not to both simultaneously.

With third party software, e.g. Nero you can burn to two drives simultaneously.
