Here is a little info ive gathered that could help:
My videocard is nVidia GeForse 8500GT
Under Device Manager -> Display adapters -> NVIDIA GeForse 8500GT -> Properties - > Device status it ses "This device cannot start. (Code 10) "

If this is a separate card you installed (rather than a chip on the motherboard) suggest you pull the card and re-seat it making sure it's pressed as far into the slot as possible without excessive force.

Have you tried uninstalling the card in Device Manager and rebooting?

Did you uninstall the existing drivers before re-installing?

Try the card in another computer to check if it has failed.

Yes - go into Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove any nVidia software relating to the graphics card - if you also have a nVidia chipset on the motherboard the entry will probably be nVidia Drivers - uninstall only the graphics drivers from the list presented.

Well it seems to have worked... but im afraid of that it will brake down again sice it's happened before(not sure why but previously REARLY when i restrated coputer it started with high quality but then broke down again)
And the uninstallation process looked pritty much the same as from the Device Manager... At any rate this is the longest time it hasnt crached so im daring to hope it doesnt crash down again - at any rate if it brakes down again ill post if not i'll wait until tomorrow and post my thanks XD
P.S. Then if this works then Rep goes to PeteC! But will do that tomorrow :D

Well ive got some bad news... i think the video card is overheating... just naw(right after it broke down again) i touched it and you wouldnt be abel to hold your thinger agenst it for more than 2 seconds... its seriously hot - naw what might couse an overheating(cuz i dont think it should be THAT hot...)? cuz this is the first time this has happened(my comp is a bit older than 1 year so it has had plenty of time to overheat...) and i dont think that any of my cooling devices have broke down and i allways keep the computer case closed for the proper cooling system... sry for the bad news.

I have had graphics overheating problems owing to drivers.

I suggest you find updated chipset drivers for the motherboard. [Was there only one listing for nVidia in Add/Remove Programs, be careful that you don't uninstall the nVidia chipset drivers if you have an nVidia chipset, there are called nForce drivers].

If you downloaded the graphics drivers, I suggest you uninstall those again (try uninstalling in Safe Mode) and reinstalling the drivers from drivers CD that came with the card.

If original graphics drivers don't seem to have problems, I don't update them. If I do, I update only by a few version releases.

I dont have a chipset, i have a video card and i checket all of my programms but there was only one - "NVIDIA drivers ".
And i tryed uninstalling and installing in safe mode from the CD but with no success.
Plus the strange thing is - i didnt really do anything when the brakedown happened(i mean - i didnt update driver or intall any new programs)... It just happened suddenly without a warning...

That can and does happen with the graphics sometimes. One way it can happen is by installing a new video card without removing the drivers and software for the old graphics adapter.

If you have changed graphics adapter, uninstall any reference to that old adapter in Add/Remove Programs and try the nVidia uninstall and reinstall again.

I recommend that you find updated chipset drivers for the motherboard. If the computer is a branded type like a Dell, HP, Compaq, Sony, Gateway, etc, you can find the driver updates at their website. If it is a "kit" or "built" system, the drivers will be found at the motherboard manufacturer's website. This can help you identify the motherboard:
How to Find Out Your Motherboard Manufacturer and Model | Hardware Secrets
and the next page (page 3). You will find links in my signature.

You can try using the method suggested in the sticky post at the start of this forum, although I have never used a driver cleaner program before.

Well the thing is - it appears it was the video cards failuer.
I brought my computer back to the guys who sold it to me and they tryed everything(no success) and sent the video card back to the manufacturer. My guarentee(or how do you spell it...) is still active so i'll probably get a replacemet or other offers.
Thanks for all your help guys - i appreciate it. When i get my comp back i'll post how it ends and, if i will be abel to find out, what was wrong with it.
