    Moderator or Staff,

Two or three days ago I submitted a post to this forum about my computer Freeze-up. A staff member, mattman responded and I used his suggestions to fix the condition. I then responded in another post giving the results and thanking him for his help. Since that time I cannot find those postings. I have searched under my name, his name, and Freeze-up. The original posts have vanished. Is there any other way these posts can be recalled?

Yes, you both are right-0n. I probably should have stated that my original post showed up as being Moved which confused me a little. But since mattman responded in the XP forum, that is where I kept looking. How or why my post started in the Hardware forum is a mystery since I normally only use the XP and the Firefox forums. I hope mattman sees your responses because I believe that one should acknowledge the time and effort that all who respond to our problems are due. Thank you both for your interest.

I moved your thread - Hardware was more appropriate than Windows XP.

Often a good idea to search 'All open forums' :)
