    Hi there

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have installed Schedule 7.0 on a Windows XP PC. The person using the PC wants to be able to view other peoples' Schedules. When they have Administrator rights there is no problem. However, when I remove their Administrator rights and give them User rights, they cannot use "Group Enabled mode ". When they attempt to open someone's Schedule, it comes up with:

The file 'C:\WINDOWS\Forms\Configs\req32.cfg' could not be opened. Microsoft Exchange Forms Registry.

I'm thinking it may be a registry issue which requires the user of the PC to be part of the Administrators group. Has anyone come across this at all? Or can someone give some words of wisdom?

    Thanks in advance...

File permissions problem. If using NT-FS file system, do the following:

1-) Go to "Control Panles" -> "Folder Options" (the one that is like a yellow folder with a slim red check-mark on it).

2-) Click on "View" tab, scroll to the bottom, and look for an entry that says something like "Use Simple File Sharing (recommended) ". REMOVE the check-mark from this option. Then click O.K. (Can't remember if a reboot or login/logoff is required for this, or if it works instantly.)

3-) In Windows Explorer, locate the file in question. "Right click" -> "Properties ", and click on the "Security" tab.

4-) From here, alter the file permissions so everyone can read it. Never used "Schedule+ ", but it might be possible that the file needs to be writen to, too.

Remember that Office 97 IS NOT designed presicely with security in mind. :)D Sounds familiar, isn't it? :D)

Schedule+ is getting pretty long-in-tooth and was never designed with NT systems in mind. Version 7.5 (came with Office97) is better than 7.0 (and will happily co-exist with it) though and 7.0b is better than the 7.0a. Mostly bug fixes after version 7.0.

You can probably keep it working but you are looking at having to tweak it a lot yourself without very good directions available from anywhere.
