    Welcome to the Forum, Bruce2!

    Bruce,

If you tried to access this site shortly before you posted, it could very well be that there was maintenance being done. I too experienced the same thing. Try again, and see if you continue to see the error.

The msvcr80.dll file is a Windows file, found here:
    C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.762_x-ww_6b128700

I found this information in a Google Search:
Not being a Windows Geek, I cannot recommend that you use the RegCure tool, if in fact this is your problem. I have doubts as to Firefox causing this particular error.

Check out these two KB Articles for some solutions for the shutdowns:
Firefox Hangs, Freezes, Does Not Respond
    Firefox Crashes

Do you have a current version of Java on your system? If not, go here for the latest version, which is Version 6 Update 6:
    http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Download the Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003 Offline version, file size: 15.18 MB

Ensure that you uninstall the existing version before installing this update.

    Bruce,

    Can you login?

Exactly what happens when you are in the Reply text area, if you can get that far?

Have you tried clearing your Private Data? If not:
    Tools | Options | Privacy
    Scroll down to Private Data
Click on the Settings Tab & check all settings
Click on the Clear Now Tab to delete all private data

Let us know if this helps

As website was loading it would error and shut down.

Heres what maybe my problem was i went into my tools menu and checked my add ons and found only 1 add on which was AVG safe search ver8 sooo i disabled that and so far everything seems to work ok now.

I usually dump my cache and cookies and such once a week.

    Thanks again

    Bruce,

Glad to hear that you finally nailed down what was causing the problem. :)
