Windows Vista [Can't open saved documents (from XP system)]

    I need serious help. I have Windows Vista and I can't seem to open any doc. files from Windows XP that I have on my flash drive from my job. Can anybody help me please.

    If you can see the file that you can't open in XP, right click on it and select properties. Get on the Security tab, and click on the Advanced button near the bottom, and from the new window, click on th Owner tab, and change it if necessary. Good luck.

    Do you have MS Office installed on your Vista machine?

    Maybe you have installed MS Office on your XP system.
    But you have to installed it on your Vista system too,or you can't open any *.doc. files.:)
