I know there is a way to save a powerpoint presentation that can be viewed by someone without a powerpoint app but don't remember how

It's been long time but I think I saved the .pps file I looked at in PP, to another single file that I was able to send via email to someone able to view it without the MS Office PP app.

Is my memory misleading me??

Difficult for me to say or test as I have PowerPoint on all my computers - a .pps file just runs, a .ppt opens in PowerPoint.

What I am sure of is that Package for CD - can save to folder as well, includes PowerPoint Viewer which is necessary to view PowerPoint presentations on a computer which does not have PowerPoint installed. Snag is it doubles the show size.
