i am trying to open an oracle application while opening it is installing JInitiator 1.1.8 during installation it is giving me error message jrew.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvenience .


i noticed that when i click on install button one message was displayed unauthorised publisher

Any one who can help will be appreciated

 

I would see if there is an updated download just for JInitiator 1.1.8 from Oracle.

Install it without Oracle running if it will let you!

If so go into control panel User accounts and uncheck use UAC!

Reboot

Try the install!

i am facing one problem in oracle application "javai.dll message is displayed while installing oracle 8i client on windows xp system.

Error Message : JREW.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvenience

Action Taken by me

1 removed java initiator
2 removed temp files and folders
3 checked the system files by running SFC /SCANNOW in command prompt
