I have a Gateway Series PIII 450 that all of a sudden developed a problem.

No changes have been made and now TAB does absolutely nothing in Word or changing fields on screens. It may switch between open screens.

Device manager says things are ok and everything else appears to be in working order keyboard-wise.

Have you borrowed a keyboard from a friend and see if its the board itself? Post back good or bad..

    Not certain... but

The first thing I would try would be to plug in a different keyboard that was working.
That or try that keyboard in a different computer.. 1 = the other...
