When I have unloaded opera, it has left me with this problem.

When I click on a web link in any of my e-mails, or a Microsoft work, I get the message "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. "

Can anybody make any suggestions to resolve this problem

    Here we go again

So now when I click on a link it asked me every time to pick a programme to open with that link, I pick Internet Explorer, and click the always use this program option, click okay, but the next time I come back to click on the link it goes through the process again.

    Any suggestions welcome please.

Check under Tools > Folder Options > File Types that HTM and HTML files are associated with Internet Explorer and in IE that it is set as the default browser.

Setting Internet explorer as the default browser was the one that fixed it. Thank you.
