I have been using remote access to log onto my boss' computer. I had a family emergency and had to leave the state, but want to access my own computer. I can access my boss', but not my own. I get an error message saying "unable to connect ". My husband (whose computer is 10 feet away from mine) set up his remote access and was able to access mine. Please help, any advise at this point would be appreciated. My hubby seems to think it has something to do with our dsl or modem blocking.

    Hi Rusty828

I would check the firewall, if yours and his computers
use the same firewall check if yours is configured
the same as his. If the firewall is built into the modem ie. Router
you might have to open a port in the modem firewall to let
    the remote computer access yours.
