Zone Alarm Suite

    ZA is OK, has been the odd problem ....

    These freebies are equally as good, if not better :) ....

    Comodo firewall - use on two computers, no issues.

    Avira AV or Avast - I use both on two secondary computers with no issues, but prefer Avira for it's simplicity. AVG 7.5 was always a favourite, but AVG 8 has caused a few problems and I no longer recommend it.

    I think you need to be more specific. The ZA Suite has more than one component.

    If you're asking about the firewall only, I suggest you go with either COMODO as suggested and if you decide to go with ZA, be sure not to untick the default install of the useless toolbar they've decided you need and make money on every install that goes unnoticed, which most usually do.

    The other anti-virus packages mentioned are excellent bits altho the Avira one throws an occasional pop up to upgrade, fairly mild but note worthy.

    Thank you for your help.I tried Commodo once but it confused my wife.Temerc,I meant the whole suite.
