    Computer is a IBM A50 Thinkcenter 8148, 512M RAM, P4 3.0 Ghz

Ok, new case same house, I finally found the time to look at my son computer. Slow as slow can be. Ran ATF Cleaner and clear 2.5 GB of space. Ran Malwarebyte and found 77 infected items check to remove infected item and was asked to reboot. It never booted up correctly again. The computer get to a blank back ground where you can see the mouse arrow and then the harddrive activity stops. (let it sit there all night).

Tryed again in safe mode (same thing),
    Safe mode Dos prompt (nothing).
Try last configuration worked (no good)

Is there anyway to restore a computer to a previous put without getting to desktop.

Windows Repair console on CD? (Never new how to use it!)

Here is the last HJT log before it went into a coma:(

    Hi taylorwn
This sounds like maybe the only option.

There are numerous infections showing in the HJT log.

Unless you would like to PM Dave and see if he has another option.

To start the Repair option, you need to insert the CD turn Off the computer and restart.
It should boot from the CD and give you the option for a repair install.

Even if you do that then post a new HJT log here, it still may not get rid of all the infections and should be looked over.

I have no problem with Dave stepping in here if he has another option.
